Andrew’s presentation will introduce you to the history of Portakabin and how the company grew to its current position. With a new brand story and a 5 year growth plan, it’s an exciting time for Portakabin. Andrew will describe recent engagement survey activity, including learnings from the first of a new series of surveys undertaken with ORC, and what it means for Portakabin as it aims to evolve its future culture.

Andrew Gamlyn is the lead for reward, HR systems and process at Portakabin. He also takes a central role in employee voice through regular People and Culture Surveys, delivered with ORC International. Regular, short pulse surveys are bringing in a wealth of information to aid the change journey at Portakabin as part of its ambitious growth plan. It’s something Andrew brings a different slant to.

 

With a background in mathematics; he brings a scientific approach to HR which aligns neatly with the business’s dedication to develop the science of building. Andrew has previously held HR roles in telecoms, retail and B2B industries, and is enjoying the challenge of helping to deliver culture change in his current role.
